No forgery about cooking, mention very well for cooking pork and the sauce that accompanies the sashimis of Saint Jacques. However, the quality of service is uneven. The Chef de salle is clearly familiar with his profession, but we cannot say so many other members of the team. But we can neither ask the sky in an establishment a star. Overall, the Axel deserves its star and we will return with pleasure.

We had lunch this afternoon. We took a 5 metre and wine stop. It was our first starred restaurant. We were not disappointed between the dishes, the wines, the service and the details accompanying them. We know where there is a real starred restaurant in Fontainebleau: this is the AXEL. Thanks again for those few hours of happiness.
A wonderful restaurant with an exceptional and talented chef! I’ve been seeing him for a very long time and it’s always a great pleasure to go even if it’s a little far from home. We go with our eyes closed and enjoy it to spend a good time in the city so pleasant with the magnificent castle
