Since the name change (change in ownership? this place has gone downhill.The restaurant portion is no longer open, so they don 't offer sandwiches, burgers, or salads. Only bakery items. There is not bathroom or seating area for customers, and it certainly is not quaint anymore. The atmosphere has declined with its perpetual under construction vibe. There are two tables, but even when nobody was using them, I was told I wasn 't allowed to sit there because they are reserved for cake ordering customers only.The cakes and cookies still look good, so the baker must be the same, but you 'll find a much welcoming atmosphere at a place like Some Crust, with seating area, bakery, airy and light cus...

Wow! This cake is absolutely delicious. All real ingredients made from scratch... You can absolutely taste the difference. The Oreo cake was delicious. It was a perfect blend of chocolate while giving your palate that smooth vanilla flavor layer in between the chocolate layers. So very good. The red velvet cheesecake cookies are explode your mind. I've never had anything like it, even at the popular cookie shops around these days. Also I would highly recommend the coffee cake. It is a beautiful blend of cinnamon and sugar. I've never had anything this good. They do not have any place to sit, so be ready to eat on the go or take it home.

I love the cakes from this bakery, and have spent hundreds over the years picking up cakes for parties etc. The one thing that’s ridiculous is that you have to physically come in to the store to pay the balance of a custom cake. Some of us don’t live right there in the area, so that’s easily an hour drive back and forth if we are lucky to have no traffic. We should be able to do payments over the phone, especially if you take deposits over the phone. If you don’t want to do that, at least offer some kind of customer portal, or email a receipt, if that’s what your concern is. Time is money. Nobody wants to make an unnecessary trip.

I absolutely love this place! We usually order a birthday cake for our kids parties. It is literally the best tasting and most moist cake you’ll ever have. I also highly recommend the rum cake, carrot cake, and the crème brûlée cake. I’m a pastry girl so their fruit tarts are amazing, as well as chocolate covered strawberries I also highly recommend their snickerdoodle cookies and peanut butter cookies.

The Horchata Cake was delicious! The cinnamon was subtle but balanced perfectly with the cream. I usually don't like cake but loved how moist this cake was. The Blueberry Lemon cookie had a great flavor profile. However, the out side was very crisp and the inside was more cake like. I personally prefer very gooey and soft cookies which is why I am giving a 4 star.

I love coming in here for my favorite desserts, they're so cute and delicious!! And a plus when it's someone's birthday I love coming here for some pre made cakes and or to make a custom cake!

Seems they use real good dairy cream. This lactose intolerant person could feel it ; I tried their carrot cake and chocolate strawberry cream cake. They were the bast in the area.

The cakes are light and not over the top sugary. The cookies are better than another location I don't want to name. They have cakes, cookies and pastries. All of them fresh!

Layered Cakerie is a great place to satisfy your sweet tooth. It has a wide variety of delicious baked goods and a friendly staff.

Pastries are delicious. Service was a little lacking. Seemed to me they were new to their roles.
