The owner was rude and unhelpful when my father mentioned that a hairdresser and photographer would be coming to my room before the wedding. Lazaat's is a plush hotel and restaurant on the outskirts of Cottingham, near Hull. Food is modern Mediterranian and Asian and is of a very high quality. The level of service is what you would expect from a top-end restaurant friendly, smiling waiters, only too keen to provide that extra special touch. Prices are quite expensive but not prohibitively so, and to be honest it is worth the expense. We went to Lazaat during the holiday season for a work night out. Upon arrival, we were greeted by an event photographer who was performing magic tricks and taking pictures. He was very funny and impressive. Our coats were taken by a polite young man in the cloakroom. We had a drink at the bar and then were seated at our table. The meal we were served was hot, well-presented, and very tasty. After dinner, we had fun making festive balloon creations provided by the DJ and entered a competition hosted by him (which we won).
