I and my partner were looking for a place to have lunch on a sunny Sunday when we decided to follow a friend's suggestion and try this typical brasserie situated in the heart of the 14th arrondissement. What a pleasant surprise!If it could seem a bit anonymous from the outside, once inside the restaurant reveals its cosy atmosphere of a typical French bistrot. The staff was really friendly and the food was great. As we sat down, a waiter brought us some free salami and the menù. After a quick look at the tempting dishes we decided to try 2 starters: I had 'croustillant de chèvre frais, miel et menthe' (crispy fried goat cheese with honey and mint) and my girlfriend took 'Napolitain d'aubergi...

We pre-booked to visit at 13:00, and so glad we did as the place was full to bursting! Great atmosphere - a little bit noisy perhaps but that did not detract from us being able to hold a reasonable conversation.Staff and customers all extremely welcoming and friendly and the lunchtime offering of two courses for 14€ very good value for money.All of our courses were delicious and we will definitely visit again on our next trip to Paris.

Great cuisine. I had beef Bourgogne and my wife had a salad with duck. Staff was friendly and accommodating to our language difficulty. Service was efficient. Seemed to be filled with locals, which is always a good sign. Bread was fresh which I used to mop up the remaining sauce of my dish probably causing an international etiquette issue. Not. Very laid back place I highly recommend.

We were staying at the Novotel Porte Orleans and searched for nearby restaurants. It is about a 30min walk to Le 14 Juillet. Visited with my young family, very welcoming, relaxed, authentic French restaurant. Staff were great and happy to help with menu translation. Food was delicious, steak was fabulous. So this is unique review as we didn’t stay long enough to sample the food. The restaurant had no air conditioning or fans. The heat was unbearable and we reluctantly concluded that eating in that temperature was a no go. We are disappointed to have not sampled the food but if Paris is hot as it was for us you may want to think twice about this venue

Great food at reasonable prices with a welcoming feeling. Over multiple trips, Le 14 Juillet has become my favorite Paris neighborhood restaurant. Small, not pretentious and very friendly with a fantastic lamb dish for 2-3 and many other excellent dishes. Be prepared to have your photo taken to be added to their film of smiling diners!

we hoped to dine in a restaurant that offered typical french eating and were not disappointed. The whole experience was top class, from the service we received, to the fare served to us.A tad expensive possibly, but probably on par with prices you will have to pay when you visit Paris.

Had dinner there with 2 friends. It was a lovely experience. The atmosphere of the place was excellent, very french and homey at the same time. The waitress was super nice, knowledgable and accomodating. Everything we had was very tasty. Definetely recommenced. Reserva una mesa ahora

Amazing....delicious food. One of the best meals I've ever tasted. Detail in the food taste is on point along with the presentation it was great. The atmosphere from the the staff is contagious. Atmosphere + Food is unforgettable.

This place was very unique and quaint. The food was wonderful and the servers were extremely friendly. We made same-day reservations only about an hour ahead of time.
