We accidentally ended up at Le 148 in Uchaux and loved it! Le 148 has a spacious garden with a wonderful peaceful ambiance. Right after we ordered the chef came out to pick rosemary, which later appeared to be for our main dish :) We had a delicious meal, well balanced and tasteful. The homemade desserts (apricot clafoutis and chocolate fondant) were simply delicious. Also, the gerant was very friendly and made us feel really welcome. The icing on the cake for our kids was that they were allowed to swim in the private pool. In other words: if you are near Orange, head for Uchaux, it's definitely worth the detour!
Excellent restaurant ! Nous avons reçu un très bon accueil. Le gérant vous accueille dans le jardin de sa propre maison. Lieu très agréable, on en oublie presque qu'on est au restaurant ... jusqu'à l'arrivée des plats : finesse et saveurs locales sont au rendez-vous. Le restaurant change sa carte toutes les semaines. Fraîcheur des produits garantie. Bonne carte des vins de la région. Adresse à ne pas manquer tant pour le cadre que pour la qualité des plats.
Very nice restaurant in an old retaped house, the setting is very pretty! As far as the dishes are concerned, nothing has been said to be worthy of a starred restaurant, I have enjoyed myself and it remains very affordable for the price and quality of the dishes. For the service it was perfect nothing to add! I highly recommend it if you go to the area, it's worth it!

Nous avons passé une très bonne soirée dans ce charmant restaurant. Le repas était excellent, élaboré avec des produits frais. Le cadre est superbe, la décoration est faite avec goût et le propriétaire est très sympathique. En somme, une adresse que nous recommandons vivement ! Les bretons.
Nous avons passe une excellente soiree dans ce restaurant. La tres belle batisse, construite par le proprietaire avec des materiaux anciens jouit d'une magnifique terrasse ou l'on se sent tellement bien! Le menu est parfait, tout cela merite bien de venir au 148!
Très belle propriété, cadre et restaurateur sympathiques.Carte renouvelée chaque semaine, les plats sont jolis, savoureux et assez garnis.Bémol sur le confort quand on mange à l'extérieur, mais je suis persuadé qu'ils vont améliorer ce point.J'y retournerai !
A friendly setting, a welcoming team, but especially an excellent meal. The products are fresh (no frozen products) and the young chef prepares delicious dishes. I recommend.
