I am actually writing this review, one of only a handful I have ever written to warn anyone from the bad experience we had at this restaurant 4/3/20. The ambiance and the music were absoloutly amazing. The band was incredible 'hook '. Both English and French...songs and took requests. (best part of the experience) The service was slow and they were obviously too busy as it was very hard to get the attention of the waiters. This is a restaurant I have always wanted to try because the yellow chicken for 2 was something I have always fancied abiet slightly out of my price range when I was working here. after we were 2 nights before and a member of the group that stayed at another visit in the hotel, we had high expectations to our booking. Unfortunately, our expectations were met with devastating disappointment. 3 steaks, 160 €/each, all ordered to the same kitchen,...but with very drastic distinction in what we get. the self-announced man paul could not deal with our accusations and went to reduce, suffered and laugh about members of our group. we were told that in France this type of steak is cooked by steak, after we are then taken chef's recommendation for steak, all various cooked steaks are served unexpectedly, we were this medium. after steak eaten all over the world, a delicious cô...
"the butcher's play" at about 25€ was just a poor little ****. with 3 poor vegetables. waw the sadness in the plate! a 100% jelly dish! the positive: the meringue lemon pie was excellent and well presented.Let's talk about the water bottle at 8€, the glass of champagne at 19€, the pear casi at the same rate...The note at 2 to about 150€, it hurts.! especially when you're seasonal...The maestro of wine still offered us the 2 glasses of wine because it brought them to us when the dish was finished. We discussed with him, very nice and very pro.Resto sympa, good service overall, but the dishes and alcohols are exaggeratedly expensive overall...Bruss welcome to merebel.!
Highly overpriced compared to quality. Starters were ok, and quite much to eat actually. Wine list was huge (If you wish to have hundreds over 1000€ wines to choose from . Normally priced local wine, recommended by sommalier, was good as well. Main couse was dissapointment...in every level. Supplements were poor (none of us finished all of those , meat was very dry (over made? with lack of sauce or taste. Price indicated to expect something much better. Service could have been better as well, this mixture of bar and restaurant (brasserie may work better as a bar, but I will not be the one trying that.

I have literally opened a tripadvisor account just to leave a review to say how great our meal tonight was. We were almost put off by recent poor reviews but my husband and I had the best meal we have had in a while in...a great setting. The head hostess (didn’t catch name sorry) was lovely and welcoming and convinced us to have dessert something we usually skip which was instagram ready lol and super tasty. Thanks for a cracking evening, we will 100% be recommending and be back
yes, a ski area will be a premium, but with average eating, the cheapest and very common wein through the bottle an eye irrigation 49 euro, combined with the most exciting live band that could not sing in the mood, we would advise them...avoid the dinner here. the servier staff was attentive and delightful, but our whole meal was totally spoiled the terrible band. our meal consisted of 1 small glass rosé, 2 glasses red, 2 net and 2 coffee. 110 euro. ouch
we discovered le 80 meribel last December and since we again many paintings! Food menu offers fine cuisine and also local dishes such as fondue savoyarde. everything is delicious and very good. the choice of the weine is amazing (they have a large cave. with hundreds of bottles) and sommelier give very good advice. waitress and waitress made us a fuss, they are very efficient, thanks to all!!!
beautiful location, beautiful and cozy. a very good waiter. he was extremely unwilling, dismissed and really didn't want to serve us. he ruined what might have been a very beautiful evening. I wouldn't go back to this. eating was ok, very expensive for what it is, but that would have been acceptable if we were served properly. bad experience

Wonderful experience, an amazing setup, ultra cozy, with excellent service (which is a real challenge due to covid... I strongly recommend the epaule d 'agneau and the Paris Brest ! By far the best wine menu of meribel, I can only recommend trying the lesser known...AOP : you can 't go wrong with such a menu !
This was the restaurant included in our package so we sampled a large portion of the menu. Some of the food was truly exceptional and some was just ok. The breakfast buffet is amazing with a huge selection. The service was wonderful.
