We were in a group of friends at the Laval Balthazar restaurant. An exemplary welcome from our server from the backlog and excellent service all the time of the evening. We were on a table at 8 in the center of the restaurant. Maybe it was a little tight between the rows of tables. On the mood side, it speaks loud and rock music is also strong. The atmosphere of this place is party and there is a group of music that is entertaining. Unfortunately, the place has a bad acoustic and that day we were about 6 groups or more of different offices and it was cacophonic. Listening to the ambient sound and not being able to talk to the person next door was for me very upset. You couldn't dance because there was no room with so many tables on. I left in the middle of the night, but the group stayed until later and they said they had a dance train. in general is a nice place for young people in normal time, not going during the end of the year parties.
This is a great place to bring business colleagues from out of the Country. The selection of local microbrew beers is quite good. Large and very enjoyable terrasse. Parking can be rare in front but there's plenty in the back.Fair choices of tasty appetizers and finger food to share.Service is fast but unequal depending on who you get as a waiter. a bit long - but always right.For sure a Repeat!
I took the new dish, the tuna bowl. Unfortunately, the dish wasn't fresh, it was gross. Moreover, it is not possible to eat the poke bowl with chopsticks, it must be eaten with a fork. the service was slow and the server was silly like its two feet. I fell sick and I'm not the only person who fell ill after taking the poke bowl. Stay away from this restaurant, I strongly advise you

This review is a combination of a few visits while traveling in Laval for work over a few weeks. I found this place not only had good food and beer but the atmosphere was also quite awesome. They had great music and when solo sitting at the bar was ideal for catching the game!
nice atmosphere, good service and good beers. on the other hand, very disappointed with the bath. meat quality was very ordinary. The vegetables were cooked in the oil, and it was very fat. I'm gonna go back, but not to eat.
What a bunch of idiots When you tell them you're allergic to fish and they tell you they can't even serve you fries. you can imagine what's happening in that kitchen. very happy I didn't eat to that place.
good I've already been twice and for a brewery we eat very nice nice plates nice presentation good portions cheap place well arranged try what I took the two times :) the bath!!!

We had a good service. Beer and food is good. We ate the tuna tartare and the chicken brooch entrance. this entry is good but a little expensive for 6 small-moyen pieces (10)$.
we loved the dishes we took several to taste and all were good. the service a little long even so pleasant
