Le Banquet de Merovee

All those staying in the 'Iles de Clovis' hotel on site at the Puy du Fou have breakfast in the Banquet de Merovee, the restaurant adjacent to the hotel reception, but lunches and suppers can be taken anywhere you fancy. Picnics are permitted if you prefer, and there are also fast food options. You need to turn up at the hour you will have chosen for breakfasts and other meals, which enables staff to keep things running smoothly and avoid mad crushes when everyone turns up at once. You need to pre-book lunches and suppers or risk the hotel restaurants being full. Breakfasts are buffet style, where you help yourself to whatever you would like, and most tastes are catered for (just don't ask for 'full English'). As a restaurant for lunch/supper, it provides for pretty well everything, in any quantity, and you wont leave hungry. We found the cocktails (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to be overpriced for a ridiculously unsatisfying 20 cl.

Good cold and hot buffet, a variety of meats and cheeses on offer. not great if you are a vegetarian, but they did serve fish. Although wine is included only red was on offer, and they do not refill the starter dessert once...items have gone.

This is one of the best places to eat at the puy du fou, but it would be better if it had a more childrens range

this was a great buffet, the food was hot and full of flavour there was a great range of meat and veg,
