We arrived for lunch. A blackboard outside announced proudly : "Today : followed by a list of succulent-souding dishes. We went in. We wanted to eat on the terrace and were told no. I asked for one of the specials and was told no. My husband asked for another and was told no. The only purpose of the board it to attract people in then you get told what you will eat and drink. I asked for rosé wine and was told I could have red or white. We were frankly too intimidated to get up and walk out LOL. I would rather have slept in the car than ask for a room. Old and tired decor. Ghastly experience. We live in Brittany where customer service is key and are not used to such poor service.

for a dinner, it's better to book even if the restaurant looks quiet (pb staff tonight). Certainly, the owner of the place, his concern is not to improve the cleanliness of his room, the entrance of the hotel restaurant (silver flat) and provide staff. In the plate it's not so bad the lamb mouse ok, the calf rhyme ok the season vegetables not top (at my taste). We were quite a big group and had to wait 2 hours for any form of food. Half the party left after the main course and didn't wait for cheese and dessert. When the food did come out it was of a good quality. They needed a dedicated waitress/waiter because the lady was trying to run the restaurant and the hotel. It took an hour to order drinks...wish we'd ordered more because getting the refills was painfully slow.

not very modern room but we have the view on the dear and "the beach of Montrichard"Home and nice service with a humour from the server. The menu at 26 € is perfect: snails, lamb mice and enjoyoles.The dishes are tasteful and in quantity. My colleague and I were not disappointed with this break.

the view on the expensive is beautiful. certainly helpful staff is not at the height. When you're on the plate. It's going on because we want to have a good time. We came several times and the last two times, it looked more like a tourist catch. we won't go back
