Le Bellevue - Reserva de mesa

We arrived for lunch. A blackboard outside announced proudly : "Today : followed by a list of succulent-souding dishes. We went in. We wanted to eat on the terrace and were told no. I asked for one of the specials and was told no. My husband asked for another and was told no. The only purpose of the board it to attract people in then you get told what you will eat and drink. I asked for rosé wine and was told I could have red or white. We were frankly too intimidated to get up and walk out LOL. I would rather have slept in the car than ask for a room. Old and tired decor. Ghastly experience. We live in Brittany where customer service is key and are not used to such poor service.

We were quite a big group and had to wait 2 hours for any form of food. Half the party left after the main course and didn't wait for cheese and dessert. When the food did come out it was of a good quality. They needed a dedicated waitress/waiter because the lady was trying to run the restaurant and the hotel. It took an hour to order drinks...wish we'd ordered more because getting the refills was painfully slow.

after a busy day of the tour châteaus it was wonderful to relax in this restaurant that offers a beautiful view of the river and an old bridge. we enjoyed a beautiful repast — melt in her mouth lamb, tarte tatin and saumur wein. the service was attentive and we look forward to a soon return journey!

My wife and I ate three dinners here. The food was good. The prices are reasonable. Get a seat at the window so you can see the Cher. Hot service was fine and the staff helpful. Reserva una mesa ahora

Good classical French food and some local products. Perfect setting for a romantic dinner. Value is fair with the 50% discount on La Carte . No Menu or Carte in English.

This was a good restaurant right on the river Cher, we ate outside and had a very good time. The food was good, too. I would recommend it for others too.

While the food is nice,the location is excellent,the ambiance is unfortunately cold typical in France 20 years ago.... It's a pity...
