Le Bishop is not particularly impressive from the outside but as soon as the threshold is crossed it becomes clear that this is a "serious" restaurant.There are only a few tables but they are elegant and beautifully prepared with good quality linen, cutlery and condiments.Before we ordered we were each presented with a glass of Kir and a basket containing half a dozen toasted bread-based hors d'ouevres (tapenade / sundried tomatoes etc.). Can't rate this place highly enough. Best food I've had in France in a long long time. Service by a friendly lady was second to none. Given a glass of wine and seriously good nibbles while we pondered the menu. Jug of iced tap water without asking, bread etc. Two fixed price menus on an evening, 23 or 33 euros and a la carte. Moules farcie starter to die for. I went for the daily special - lamb in a goats cheese sauce, wasn't expecting much for 15 euros but it was delicious. Doubt I will eat on the seafront in St Raph ever again after this dining experience, wonderful!

This small restaurant is a street away from the main beach . (We think this is often a good sign as far as the food quality: tourist price ratio is concerned!)The restaurant was full and they were mainly French people (another good sign). The locals come here we later found out!There was a good selection of food at reasonable prices and a good wine list.We really enjoyed the ambience, the food and the experience. I would recommend this restaurant and we intend to return before we leave St Raphael.

Little resto in a pleasant back street. It was excellent! I had the best fish soup ever. It is a small family run place . All the dishes were very good and at a reasonable price of Euros 80 for 2 people , 3 courses including wine. My friend and I happened to be passing through Saint-Raphael at lunchtime and realised we were really hungry and still had a long way to go, so we stopped and went into the first open restaurant we could find.It's nothing special, the food was ok and the value acceptable. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere pleasant.

Me and my fiance found this little gem hidden away off the main drag of the marina . Family run,French cuisine at its finest . Fish soup bouillabaisse too die for mine .. red mullet with tapenade and a wafer thin filo on one side WOW and my better half a Provençal octopus stew xxxxxxx divine

Fantastique, excellent food and service, First went way back in around 1980 and when I am here in St.Raphael it's one of my First stops. Roger & his daughter do a great job, Thursday is Coucous day, this was brillant but far Too Much for me.

We were overnighting in St Rahael. The restaurants on the promenade were super pricy so we went in one city block and found a delightful family restaurant with more reasonable prices, great food and hospitality. This is a really nice place. Reserva una mesa ahora

My family of five and I went for lunch. We all did the menu and was very happy with that selection. Nice location of the beaten track, good food, good wine and solid service. Would recommend anyone visiting.

Traditional french cuisine. Have eaten here several times when on holiday in St. Raphael. Good food and a good athmosphere. Highly recommend a lunch or dinner at "Le Bishop".
