Le Bistro Gastro

I have reviewed this excellent restaurant before, but this review covers catering for a 60th birthday party event. Bistro Gastro provided us with a truly outstanding level of catering for a family party of nine adults, who were holidaying near Carcassonne, about an hour away from the restaurant. They had not previously seen the gite kitchen. However, by previous arrangement, they provided a six course lunch with wine, together with additional food for an evening buffet. All the food was prepared and cooked fresh at the gite. The level of friendly service, the quality of ingredients and the presentation was outstanding. They brought everything to the site and, when they left, you would not have known they had been there, it was so clean and tidy. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant again, and wish them luck in their new venture into off site catering. Please contact them if you would like a similar experience. We all loved it!

We have visited Le Bistro Gastro three times now, whilst visiting our family living in Saint Jean. Each time it has been a wonderful and memorable experience. The restaurant combines excellence of cuisine (with a choice of 'Bistro or 'Gastro' or a combination of each), relaxed yet special atmosphere and especially good service. The latest visit was for a lunch with our daughter and 6 week old grandson and we were delighted to eat Al Fresco in the September sunshine. The staff noticed from inside the restaurant that the sun had moved around to be shining on the baby, and activated the awning for shade, a nice attentive touch from the friendly staff. This restaurant can be thoroughly recommended to you, and we will return regularly to enjoy the changing menu.

excellent restaurant the fishing food is very nice the cooker make plate of the day whith fres food of market is quality and price is nice not expensive I recomended this restaurant is better to phone before
