Still a Winner!. A little back story: I last visited this delightful establishment 2 decades ago. Back then, they had a wonderful dish on the regular menu of calf's liver sauteed in a raspberry vinaigrette reduction. I would take people here who swore up and down that they hated liver and would bet them that they would love it the way it was prepared here. I never lost that bet! Dinner reservations were honored at an empty restaurant on Friday night. As we settled in to review the menu and make small talk with our waitress who is the co-owner, she seemed to take offense that we ask how she was connected to a French restaurant. We ordered our appetizers they were great. The entrees were another story. My medium rare steak arrived well done. The server wanted to pour the sauce on top and I requested it to be on the side. She told me we don't do that here. I said well I don't want all of the sauce on top so please leave it on the side. We went to Le bistro after a friends recommendation. We were on vacation and were looking for a nice quaint restaurant for our anniversary dinner. This place fit the bill PERFECTLY. Although it was very quite that night (because of summer off season), it worked out fantastic for us. The staff was extremely attentive and the two meals we had (Steak Diane and Pesto Shrimp Risotto) were both cooked perfectly. Try the Limoncello!! The only bad thing was that we were going home the next day or we would have gone back the next night to try a few other dishes. I wanted to try the Roast Rack of Lamb. I GUESS IT Will BE NEXT TIME!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Amazing food. I ordered the onion soup and my wife got the blue crab cake. Both were out of this world. The entree we ordered was the Beef Wellington and needless to say it did not disappoint. The chef and his wife are both very nice people. Will be back again.

Really nice hidden gem in Pompano, we have ordered a delicious beef tartar and as dessert profiteroles, the server Shambhala was really kind and polite, will be back for sure.

Last month I was looking through the Dine Out Laurderdale list of restaurants. On the list was Le Bistro Close to work, so I checked the menu.
