Le Bistrot Canaille

We were staying in a cottage in Langueux with our children aged between 11 and 16. We were so impressed with the fantastic service, friendly staff and truly wonderful food. We all had two courses and bread and butter. We all had drinks including a bottle of wine and the whole meal came to 66 euros. The children enjoyed their chicken nuggets with mashed potato beautifully presented and ice cream with lollipops and decorative little umbrellas. It really was the best place we ate in the whole of our two weeks on holiday. The meals for adults are fantastic as well. I think the restaurant is closed is closed on Monday but please do check!

We popped in here on a weeknight (it was our second try as the place is closed Tuesday and Wednesday) and had a lovely meal. We opted for the set menu and the food was delicious. There were two options for each course, and both were done brilliantly. The set menu also includes a tea or coffee which is a nice touch. The atmosphere in the room was really nice, with a few other groups in with us, but it wasn't busy. The staff were lovely, helping us to decipher the menu when our French failed, and making us feel really welcome. I'd thoroughly recommend if you're in the area. Worth a detour for!

Just left there. My wife and I just spent $100.00 and had multiple complaints. Spoke to a man who appeared to be a manager. Don't go there, it's a ripoff

We went for the crab legs on the buffet and were not disappointed. Delicious!_Also. the hush puppies that were brought to the table were amazing!

The buffet is so amazing and offers so many choices, food is hot always and the desserts are great.
