Le Bistrot Des Caps

Over the last 5 years we have visited this restaurant on many occasions for special events and with friends. Since Covid it has been less fequent but today we booked for lunch to celebrate my birthday. We arrived at 12.15 and were surprised at the number of tables already taken on the terrace and waited to be seated. 40 minutes later we were still waiting to place our order for food and a bottle of wine to sample as an aperitif. We were the only table with nothing on it except menus. At least 3 tables of people who arrived sometime after us had been served drinks and their orders taken. We wanted to go out for a special meal at the end of our holiday and had heard good things about the quality of the cooking at Le Bistro. What a great decision! We had a simply delicious meal , my pink tuna steak was sublime and my wife’s langoustin fricasse was gorgeous! The quality of all the ingredients shone out and the skill of the chef was undoubtedly impressive. We sat outside and loved the relaxed atmosphere with a great mix of clientele. We are already planning a return in August!!!

Incredible local food, very good cidre, and our waiter was really entertaining. This place went from empty to full in a matter of minutes, and after tasting the delicious food, it's obvious why they're so popular.

On the way to or from Cape Frehel a simple place along the road. But with a nice terrace and decent food although we were not realy impressed by the local specialty of andouillete

Great food, democratic prices, social distancing well maintained and very friendly service.We returned here twice and will certainly on our next vacation.
