This must be the worst experience in a restaurant I have had. There was a large group,of us, including a big group of young children. We booked a table outside and some of our party had eaten there before, with a good experience and service. We asked for the children to get there food served before us and even ordered it about10 minutes earlier to the adults. The poor waitress had to cope with taking the order and serving all the foods, whilst getting more drinks and dealing with our building grievances. Most of the adults meals came out first, with no sign of the children's, a few adults dishes didn't come out until we had all finished our meals and still no sign of the children's food. The...
We live in Laval and thought we would give the new restaurant ago but when we arrived it took the staff 20 mins to welcome us and to sit us at a table, about 10 mins before a waiter brought us the menus and asked if we wanted an aperitiffe, The menu is quiet good but they are trying to do too much they have a couple of things of most things rather than doing what most French restuarants do and specilise in something.our order was taken and took at least 40 mins for our food to arrive ( we noticed the waiter who brings the food from the kitchen doesnt know which table to go to and isnt allowed to serve the food he has to wait for the assigned waiter to arrive) when our food arrived our assige...
The property is stunning and a lot of money has been poured into this location. Stunning terrase and all very nicely appointed. The food is adequate , normal french bistro. However, the staff is absolutely terrible. Very unproffessional and so so so slow. We waited 35 minutes for 2 coffees. I went in 2 times from the terrasse to the gossiping staff at the bar counter. There were more staff on call then guests and still so slow. Second try was no better. A simple lunch is a 2 hour ordeal waiting waiting waitng. I have several friends that have been here independently and everybody says the same thing. Its a bit of teh joke of Laval. Not sre what these guys are thinking.
We've been to Laval many times but came across this restaurant by chance whilst walking around waiting for another restaurant to open for evening meals. What a surprise! A new cosmopolitan restaurant serving delightful food in a perfect location for sensible money! Had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and we'll definitely be coming back. Thank you Le Bistrot Du Palais.

The restaurant hadn't been open long, so we decided to give it a try. Whether it was because of our English accents or something. the wait to be served (once we'd eventually been seated) was awful. as was the wait for the food to arrive, which wasn't worth the wait! We won't be going back and do need recommend it. although may be it's improved since then. hope so.
Lovely decor, great lunch menu and the food was very good. The burger was fresh and the bun was even very good. My husband ordered the pork and he thought the honey sauce was good also. Very cute location and in the center of town.
Recent restaurant just opened on one of the most beautiful square in Laval. Very nice place with a magnificient terrace. The menu is complete. Prices reasonable. I suggest for sure
Poorest service ever. Made us wait 15 minutes outside of the drive through to get our order. All the staff members were rude and the place was a mess .

We pulled up to the drive through window and one of the employees yelled, "Yeah, that's so f***d up!" So classy.
I should've checked Yelp before I drove here from Yankee Candle.
