we stopped here for lunch on a date after le verdon. the restaurant is located in port médoc near the marina, so they can take the boats and, to this occasion, one of the great cruise ships that are in le verdon for. the day docks. we ate the menu midi, that was euro. the only starter was whelks who might not be every taste, but all four of us agreed that they were excellent. the main course was a selection of fish (hake) or grilled steak with beautiful frit. the dessert was a kind of strawberry concoction. we drank local rosé, which was about euro a bottle. the service was friendly in the limits of our French and unmarried, as we ate our cozy lunch on the shaded terrace. I wouldn't hesitate...
We only visited this place on the last day, despite our French being almost none existent and the waitresses English not much better we got by and managed to order some lovely waffles (highly recommend), some ice cream and coffee. The setting is lovely beside the port and one of the managers came to offer us directions to a nearby beach when an English speaking tourist overheard us saying there wasn't anywhere very touristy to visit.Staff were helpful, menu only in French though so google translate comes in handy!
This is a nice little place,well situated with seating inside and outside. It is on the edge of the new leisure port (not the old port with the ferry.) It specializes in fish dishes - all 3 of the suggestions for the day were fish. Meat dishes are available but not varied and vegetarian dishes and menus were missing. Food was good. Staff are friendly. Prices are reasonable.
as at most locations, the menu includes the choices for starters, pornstars and desserts. some special areas are also available. we liked our choices, friendly service and reasonable pricing. a beautiful experience on a beautiful day, e.g. after your trip to the lighthouse Cordouan....reservations recommended.

Ingredients fresh, and the cook knows his metier.After two times of copious lunch, I can recommend. A person spends 30 euro ex wine , 3 courses. Good local meat. Usually there is a large choice and since fish is abundant in the region, the owner always offers at least 4 fish varieties.
This place is really busy at lunch. It's on the marina of course not in town, but the harbor views are very nice and the patio is well shaded. All plates looked excellent and the menu is diverse.
Just a short ferry crossing from Royan and then a short stroll to this Restaurant by the Port. We had a couple of very good salads and a bottle of wine. Good location, Good price, Good service
possibly because of the same family with le Ku-G from Soulac, the food was pleasant and service efficient. i'll go back. i did actually.
