Le Bivouac - Reserva de mesa

Le Crillon has always been one of my favourite eateries and its position so close to the Croisette makes it a great place to people-watch. In the last year a new chef arrived an frankly the food is now much better, that said it was never bad but kind of basic....the salads are more complex, the vinaigrette more subtle, the meat dishes more imaginative and the accompaniments altogether more serious. Highly recommended as a great place to eat for a reasonable price right in the heart of Cannes..

Called in for lunch. The place itself is nondescript but the food, while not in the top bracket is acceptable. The moules mariniere were really small but the taste was good. The chips could have been a lot warmer and were disappointing. The chevre salad was fine but I have tasted better. Service was friendly and efficient and prices fair but there are better places to go locally.

The place was half empty we had just sat down waitress turned up can we have 2 beers please “ no it’s for food only we are full” but you serve beers and there is 8-10 tables outside empty what a joke But please make your own mind up I don’t want to use language not appropriate for this review but I am not happy

Although in a ‘touristy’ part of Cannes, this restaurant manages to retain its Gallic charm. As Brit, I have a suspicion of the way that the French cut and cook their steaks, but I had one of their specials, which was rump steak and it was excellent. We will go again. Reserva una mesa ahora

Although very much in the tourist area of Cannes, this restaurant remains unashamedly French. Charming staff, where one of the waiters, Max, even recognised us from our visit last year. We had the tenderloin steak and their pepper sauce is excellent.

Went here for breakfast a couple of times. It is nothing spectacular to be honest, but the croissants are fresh, the coffee is good, the prices are low and the service is exceptional. Much better value than several of the places on the front.

Excellent meal for the price. Wear. Service courtesy without going to the excess of large restaurants. Nice presentation, worked, which surprised us by considering the type of place. Basically, a good experience.

We'll make a birthday for all the festivals of the game. We hope to return this week. Good atmosphere, good meat, quality of reception and service. Fingers crossed so that it doesn't change. Reserva una mesa ahora
