The menu takes a bit of working out as prices for steak are quoted by weight (multiples of 100gms) and the minimum weight you can order is also stated. I booked this restaurant, based on trip advisor reviews, for a birthday meal. I imagine booking is essential too as it got very busy over the course of the evening. We arrived over half an hour early but this was not a problem. The waitress was very pleasant and indulged my desire to speak poor french. We had one starter; beef carpaccio, which was melt in the mouth, three mains, and two desserts. three glasses of wine, which were really nice, an orange juice, a local beer and a bottle of San Pellegrino and the whole lot came to 112 euros. Had the most gorgeous steak here last night. Although we could not speak French, we were met by a very friendly waiter who showed us to a table and offered to help us with the menu. We both chose the entrecôte we were not disappointed; the steak was one of the best we have ever eaten and with fresh hand made chips too!!! Along with a reasonably priced bottle of house red and a delicious dessert, this has to be among the best meals I have ever eaten at a restaurant. Absolutely superb.
Meat lovers paradise, the Oxtail terrine and Fois Gras starters after an amuse Bouche of Rillets were stunning, my Entrecôte perfect and Filet superb but the chips and the Peas that came with them sublime.Shared a desert but our hearts were not in it after consuming so much lovely beef. Two bottles of Crozes Hermitage and the night was complete, lovely all round.

Beef from the Limoges area is reputed to be some of the best in France and this restaurant makes an effort to serve only the best of local beef. It's a small restaurant and very busy so reservations are essential. We were warmly welcomed and the service throughout was very attentive. The meat was, as expected, excellent.

I visit Limoges two or three times a year and always look for a good steak as the Limousine beef here in this region is fantastic.It is a small restaurant with good decoration and very kind staff. I will definitely come again next time in Limoges.
It is a walk of 30 minutes from the center of the city, not very pleasant if you are stranger and do not speak french.When we arrived, the place was empty.No menu in english,the waiters do not speak english"We left for something more friendly.

Very nice restaurant. House wine was good, service friendly. The pate as for starter was excellent. The meat very tasty.
