Was served a popadom with pepper on the house. The aubergine starter was nothing special. 8 Euro for 2 thin slices of battered Aubergine. The lamb patia with rice was a much more substantial portion but no great flavours- dominated by coconut- rather sweet for my taste. My recommendation is skip the starters & go straight for the main. Down this narrow pedestrian street are about 5 Indian restaurants one after another. I chose Le Bombay because it was open on Sunday & they display their menu outside. Great they take credit cards but no WiFi. The table cloths are covered with paper. Inside is decked out with pictures of Indian buildings- Taj. So somewhat clicheed nowadays-

small restaurant held by a family of bangladesh located in a alley perpendicular to the street of rome, close to the capitol. menu composed of samosas, curry chicken and tandori accompanied by rice and natural naans to finish with a mango delight. impeccable service, good quality and quantity of the dishes served, all for 32€ to 2, which is correct for a Thursday noon.
the room is traditional bill for an Indian restaurant, the friendly welcome, the service a little slow, even with few people.We were there to dine, the tandoori chicken for our group was in generous quantity, but a little "burned", for the lamb on the other hand it was really insufficient!in entry two very ordinary samossas....good, the price remains reasonable.
