We were staying in Kingersheim on our way back from our holiday in Italy and were recommended this local restaurant. It was a touch difficult to find but we were glad we persisted. Despite being told that it would shut at 8.30 pm at 9.00 (when we had finished eating it was still going strong. We were among the first customers to arrive. Our hostess was very welcoming and very forgiving of my not very good French. The food was very, very good and the atmosphere very friendly and welcoming we sat and happily chatted with other customers (French . I can truly recommend the escargots! All in all very good value for money and a little gem of a restaurant.
Beyond appearances, there is a bowl of restoration that it makes good to discover: the boreal. a small and scalable card, gage of fresh products. The patron, accessible and with a lot of mind, can reconcile traditions (ah, curls to the queen, jarrets and other osso bucco.) and regular and less conventional suggestions. Fish lovers, wings of rays, seafood or squids are sublime. The warmth and sympathy of the service end up conquering you. The best advice: dare enter and let yourself be seduced...AS78
We stopped in while driving through. This was a family run restaurant, and the people could not have been better. Our French is a bit off : , but everyone was more than helpful. I had the meat platter, while my girlfriend had the mussels. The food was amazing and the wine was paired perfectly. We could not recommend this place enough. We will visiting again.
Très bonne adresse. La carte est en français. Les plats sont copieux, servis avec légumes. J'ai pris les brochettes de calamars, leur cuisson était parfaite. Nous étions bien installés à l ombre d un jardin très tranquille. Tarif raisonnable. Je recommande sans hésiter. 10/2023
