I enjoyed a delicious lunch here on Saturday July 2. It goes without saying that the location, on the left bank of the Saone, is outstanding, near the St. Laurent bridge looking across at Macon.I've always found that an owner who puts their name on the door is always fiercely proud of their cuisine. and such is the case here. Mme Nicole Robin offered a warm, solicitous welcome to her restaurant. The menu at 19.50E offered an old favourite of mine - calf's liver, which one seldom sees. The food here is not "bought in" - its all made on the premises. A wonderful fish terrine, full of flavour, was beautifully presented, then followed by the liver.
