Le Bouchon du Marche

This restaurant focuses on lyon cuisine in the southern half of the france, probably with some Italian, Swiss and German influence. I loved food here. I started with cold squash soup and found it different from everything I've ever had and pretty delicious. Then I got the maple of the bressone rabbit that was also very tasty. I finished with the pink praline pie that was very good even if I found it too sweet at the time I finished it. Maybe eating only half a session would solve this problem. I know the French approach to dinner is to take his time, so I'm not sure what should be reasonable expectations. However, being alone, I was not located to have a good conversation between the plates...

quite agree with the previous comment. choice of refined dishes, good service despite the popularity of the restaurant at the time of lunch and a real welcoming atmosphere from "Le Patron" and the rest of its staff. the price was reasonable for a three-course lunch, including wine, and the selection of five cheeses for the final dish was made up of a good selection of cheeses with good portions of food provided to the three dishes. the surrounding market is well worth a visit and is not far from downtown.

I saw the awning walking around and decided to come back here for a late lunch. When you say "Lyonnaise traditional cooking", you know it must be good. all we had was great. The service was good, but not overwhelming. I had a little trouble deciphering the menu, but once we did, it was a wonderful lunch. There was a stew of beef that melted in the mouth. finished with a rhubarb pie. happy to have found this place.

I had lunch on Sunday with my family. food was actually correct. We've taken a plate of charcuterie in the entrance. Lamb, beef fillet and duck magret in main dish. The food was rather tasty but the portions of the main dishes were rather small (just a few small potato accompaniment) the main problem is the time it took to be served. 25 minutes to have a cutlery and 25 more for main dishes. It was a very good French restaurant. clean, comfortable, the staff was wonderful. And it was packed! the only problem for me was that the menu was really composed mainly of abs - abats. lots of feet, stomach, bone marrow and calf ris (no sweet bread ^_^ ). We were told it was true Lyon style. So I guess that's what they like to eat in lyon.

we have chosen this restaurant based on opinions on tripadvisor and we fully agree with the opinion of the majority. excellent traditional Lyon cuisine and affordable prices, personal and manager in particular that warmly welcome you and all in a traditional atmosphere

We just fell on this wonderful little jewel. fortunately, we were there early, apparently, because it was totally filled shortly afterwards. The waiter spoke a limited English, but we kissed and took a delicious meal.

business dinner food was not good at any scale the average issue was over. the special pork twice was not tasty. The wine was good a tourist trap. eat once a restaurant Reserva una mesa ahora
