Le Bouchon du Palais

This is the restaurant you always hope to find in any city. The type of place that offers high quality food at reasonable prices in authentic settings and with truely friendly service. We loved every minute in the small, cozy restaurant and enjoyed every bite of the old school French food … pâté, poached eggs in red wine sauce, coq au vin. Remember to book a table there are very few seats in this bouchon,

Wanted to find a real local cuisine and came across the Bouchon du Palais, a small bistrot type restaurant that did not look very enticing through the window. However, I was so glad I went in where I was met in a friendly manner and a table found for me even without a reservation. AND more importantly they had a delicious coq au vin on the menu. Recommended unless you need fancy decors.

Excellent local restaurant with great service we tried French but did not need too. We went for lunch and the midi menu was excellent value with some excellent terrine and pie then some well cooked offal dishes.

Very small off the beaten track but what a great food experience with traditional Burgundian cuisine. The owner serves the tables and is a great host. Highly recommend. Make reservations, it is a small place.

Good food at the right price, nice place in downtown, very nice people. Perfect for a nice dinner in dijon. Strongly suggested.
