Le Brasero - Reserva de mesa

This restaurant was the closest to our accommodation in rue de la Scance and after having cooked at home for a number of nights we decided to treat ourselves with dinner out. A pizza shared as an entree was of a substantial size and had ample topping although l found the base to be too thick for my liking. The rump steak l ordered was extremely tender and arrived seared and served over heat so that l could continue to cook to my taste. The chips were excellent! My partner enjoyed his ravioli very much. There was a good selection of wines and beers to choose from and the service was generally very good.

We were recommended this restaurant as we stayed at the hotel round the corner. We were not disappointed: the menu offers a lot of choices. We were a large family group and all the different dishes ordered were rally nice. The prices are reasonable and the people are very friendly. We loved the steak with the Roquefort sauce - with a twist as you cook it yourself the way you like. We went there twice. The second time we all chose the raclette and again it was a great experience.

Recently stayed in Verdun visiting the WW1 sites of interest. Stayed in a gite nearby and the owner recommended the restaurant. Visited 3 times during the week of our stay and was impressed on every visit. The restaurant offered traditional French cooking with an interesting twist plus also a wide range of pizza's including L'escargot pizza. The staff and owners were attentive to our needs and ensured our dining experience was a success.

Friendly staff assisted with suggestions to order and very happy with results. Pizza was smooth with a great base, pasta dish and salad I struggled to finish but was too nice to leave! Venue personable with great painting on main wall and plenty of room for couples or families. Not rushed or harassed and would recommend to anyone to visit for a great meal. Reserva una mesa ahora

Touring the area on motorbikes it had rained none stop all day and was pouring down as we set off on foot to eat when we arrived we were told they were fully booked but they then took pity on us and fitted us in. The meal was very nice and excellent value service was first class. So enjoy if you are in the area it is well worth the visit

A group of us ate here for three nights on the trot, as it was the nearest restaurant to our hotel, Hotel du Tigre.Most of us tried something different each time, and were always delighted with the result.A tip ; make sure your French is up to speed..we ordered 3 Americanos, and got Campari cocktails !

We ate here twice as it was just around the corner from our hotel. It was a great find. Charming staff and good food. My omnivorous friend enjoyed the meat and I had a gigantic peasant salad (vegetarian). Modestly priced. We sat outside in the charming garden area. Highly recommended.

Arrived very late. Warm welcome. Surprised to be taken to garden to eat. Food excellent - one of the best steaks ever and delicious vegetables. Very friendly and helpful service. Absolutely recommend Reserva una mesa ahora

This place was suggested by our hotel. It is right in the middle of a long row of houses. The staff was very friendly and the food good. The price was a little high for me but maybe not for others.

A quaint restaurant with a big plus on value for money. We had the recommended evening menu and were really pleased with the service and cuisine.
