Le Brez Pizza Fondue Wine Beer Cocktails

I 'm often at the Brez with our ski group. Generally I feel the restaurant has good food with disinterested staff. But my last experience just wasn 't good. I had ordered the beef fondue, which I 've previously enjoyed there. This time, after eating a couple of pieces I noticed it had an odd taste it was dried out and not very beef like. After inspecting the meat with my cell phone flashlight (because the lights had been turned down to almost pitch black), I saw that the meat was riddled with brown spots. Fantastic fondue, fresh food, great service! What a great treat! We went here on our vacation in Quebec since it was recommended by our B&B. It's in the village at Mont Ste Anne ski resort. We had the cheese fondue as an appetizer, delicious! Then we shared one serving of the surf and turf (filet, salmon and shrimp) with oil. The meat is served raw and you cook it in the oil. It was spectacular! The filet was the best so would recommend just going with that. It only takes like 20 seconds to cook in the oil. Nice place to eat dinner. We didn't have a reservation, but we were told we could sit at the bar. Being from the states, I felt like we stood out a bit and I'm not so sure the couple next to us liked Americans, but that was the only negative vibe I felt in this place. Our server was friendly and attentive. I was in the mood for something tasty and I saw a lot of people eating fondue. I went for the surf and turf with the house broth and it was awesome. We were searching for a place to celebrate Christmas Eve, and fondue sounded perfect. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, offering a fun yet upscale atmosphere that remains comfortable. The food was outstanding! We kicked off our meal with the smoked cheese fondue, which was absolutely delicious. Next, we enjoyed the surf and turf fondue cooked in hot oil, and we couldn’t get enough of it! For dessert, we indulged in dark chocolate fondue and left feeling very satisfied. Very bad service, hostess is the rudest I've ever met, obnoxious and absolutely not welcoming for kids. We came in with 2 children, 1.5 and 4 years old, of course both wanted a candle (plastic artificial light) and we took the second one from an empty table. She stopped by to say that we have to put it back... and watch our kids. We ordered pizza, which came uncut with a big knife, which we found very inconvenient and not safe with kids. On our request to cut it, the server sighed and widely opened his eyes, asked on how many pieces... the food overall came very salty. Would NOT recommend it.

Great time at Le Brez! Was recommended by a friend and we are glad he did! Can't beat the location, right in the village of Mont-Sainte-Anne; terrific access to the slopes. We walked in for lunch on a weekday and were seated immediately. Plenty of selections of burgers and pizzas. We enjoyed the entrees of Salmon which was excellent and the delicious tartiflette! Wait staff friendly and bilingual. We were impressed by the quality of food and decor. Should be great for apres ski. We will be back!

We were looking forward to trying the cheese fondue. The cheese itself was fantastic, but the bread that accompanied it didn’t seem very fresh. The glass of wine we ordered appeared to be less than 5 ounces, and the wine menu didn’t specify the serving size. However, the fresh bread served separately was much better than the bread that came with the fondue. On a positive note, the decor and service were excellent.

You can't beat the location at the base of the slopes at Mount Sainte-Anne. We had three different Fondues which were very good and well sized, but everything is ala carte and quite pricey. Service was very good and decent wine list. Reserva una mesa ahora

We had a fantastic meal, and our kids loved their first fondue experience! Although we couldn't make a reservation earlier in the afternoon and had to wait a little for a table, it was definitely worth it.

With a very impressive wine collection this place ranks as one of my favourites in the area.
