Le Cabanon - Reservar una mesa

My mother in law lives in France and we were visiting the market in st Jean d'angely when we found this lovely restaurant. We had a lovely seat by the window and enjoyed a couple of hours of good food and family catch up time. We had cod tartare as a starter, smoked duck salad and spicy prawns with good fresh bread and excellent wine. For mains we had steak and chips, sole and pork. All were very tasty and well cooked. When asked about dessert we decided on the delice which had been invented by the owners wife. This was delicious and we were also treated to a lovely glass of dessert wine by the owner . A perfect end to a special family lunch. This is a lovely well decorated and well positioned restaurant obviously favoured by locals. The chairs were comfortable and the owner very friendly. You should have a trip to the wonderful market and make this your destination for a relaxing and enjoyable lunch. You won't be disappointed.

We visited with our 3 yr old daughter for our wedding anniversary.A cosy and welcoming venue run by a very competent team who made excellent food.Our family was very well looked after throughout the visit and the menu was brilliant!Our anniversary was topped off by the restaurant inadvertently playing our wedding dance song, when they found out, we were given a complimentary glass of champagneHighly recommended location, you won't be disappointed.

Came here for dinner and thought it to be a good, well run restaurant. The fish I had was good and the staff were very friendly. Others at my table thought the food was just okay considering the prices and they were probably right. But the staff were great and the restaurant itself is very comfortable with quite a relaxing ambiance.

Love this place ! I ordered duck which was unfortunately sold out but offered veal chop instead . It was cooked to perfection ! The staff are very friendly and all our meals were delicious . Definitely 10 out of 10 for us .

Food lovely with good service but slightly overpriced.. my wife and I ate there one evening we cannot fault the food it was good but not excellent however in my opinion it is slightly overpriced for the area and the food..
