We went to eat lunch time on a weekday. I had booked in advance as it was my husbands birthday. They brought out a candle and the waiter sang. :) Tables, seats and deco are simple but pretty. It was a windy day but once inside the restaurant it didnt bother us a bit, we envoyed the view; the sunshine and on top: great food. Portions are wellsized and the ingredients fresh. Simply wellmade! The lady i took for the owner made a distant impression while the young man who was waiting us was sweet with the kids and attentive.
Finally one can spend a lovely evening on the Cote Bleue. While lots of restaurants here are mostly tourist traps, with decent food at best, huge prices, restaurant looks like from the 80s, Le Cabanon is totally different.Very nice people. Small menu, always with fresh produce. Few wines, but very good quality price ratio, I recommend the Doamine de Nais old vines red.Totally recommend this place.
