Le Cabaret Normand

I visited here several times during my trips down the coast & always enjoyed it. Nice dining room or you can eat in the bar area. Contrary to other comments here I have always found the staff welcoming & the service good, speaking a little French helps, it is their language after all. Serves classic French village food, goats cheese salads, beef steaks, veal, mussels cooked in wine/cider or curry, good chips, all well cooked. The star of the lunch however is the apple tart, you must leave room for that. The crispest, thinnest superb pastry. No soggy bottoms here Mary !

pleasant service, authentic and quiet restaurant. very good value quality price. quality fried mussels, very good rhubarb pie. I strongly recommend when you are passing through this pleasant little village.
