Two days ago we beat a path to the Picasso Pottery Museum in Vallauris only to our dismay to find it closed for lunch!! All was not lost as in the same square is the wonderful Le Cafe de France, which was totally unpretentious but perfect, the food, menu and service was spot on. Together with our friends we enjoyed one of the best meals we ate whilst in the south of France. The presentation was inventive and all the ingredients top quality, so the fact we missed the Picasso was sad but heh we hope to return and do them both!! If only every town had a Le Cafe de France, try it you won't be disappointed.
Tombés par hasard sur cette place, nous avons été super bien accueillis et choyés tout au long du repas. La Patronne est très commerçante et prévenante. Les plats, sans être exceptionnels, étaient bons (quoique un peu frugal) et bien présentés. Le petit verre de limencello offert au dessert a eu le mérite de clôturer un repas fort sympathique.
We got to the restaurant by the recomandation of a local. The Food was amazing also the deserts. The chef of this place can easy get One Michellin Star. The service was amazing. We felt like we were part of the family not tourists. The staff made our midi -lunch am experience to remember. Thank you
Nous avons très bien déjeuné à un prix correct avec un service très correct et un accueil fort sympathique nous recommandons fortement ce restaurant qui en plus à une terrasse très agréable avec les cigales qui vous chante une jolie musique d'été a découvrir absolument.

Très jolie carte, petits prix pour une excellente qualité. Très joli décor, sous les platanes à côté du Musée Picasso et devant la belle église italienne. A voir aussi: la Biennale internationale de Céramique, hautement " professiinnelle" pour l'art contemporain.
Simply superb. Truly excellent food some of the best we've had anywhere in the region. Puddings are outstanding. Top class, incredibly friendly service. On the doorstep of the Picasso Museum.
Restaurant/café se trouvant sur une jolie place, juste à côté du musée Picasso. J'ai pris le plat du jour : linguines et filet de rouget. Bon rapport qualité prix. Service agréable.
Un déjeuner à l'ombre des platanes dans un cadre sympa et très reposant. Une équipe de restauration souriante et à l'écoute des clients. Bonne table . A recommander sérieusement.
