the personal must play a game where they can ignor points for how often they can ignore them. when we finally flattened a waitress to ask for a menu. the answer we got was so rude that we both laughed, it was so out of place. Other diners came after us and got their food before us. I don't know if this was everyday random racism against the English, as I'm obviously English, but my friend is not and she speaks fluent French. I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. there are many choices in front of location and they must be better than here.
this was recommended by our b and b host and it was beautifully located in the heart of the pleasant coastal town villers sur mer. Despite a very full salon, the service was quite good, and the food justified the 4 star review....The starter was similar to whitebait (only smaller fish with garlic mayonnaise, and my fischeinpot was quite delicious. the wee was very quaffable and good worth, like the whole meal. we would likely explore some of the other options on a future visit, but for a cost-effective and fairly fast meal, it was perfectly acceptable
Been here twice and both times had very good meals indeed. This time, my partner had simple crab very nice; accompanied by a good rounded muscadet which many of the french families that Sunday seemed to be drinking. I had what some might...see as very small whitebait', after which a good onglet (just right siagnant followed by ile-flottante. Good service, happy people. It was Mother's day, so all the women in the restaurant received a lovely single rose.
very average. august evening, but not full. but the personal is not in the position to keep up. chick that they need to pick up with the fingers (no pincer) steak ok but not delicate, crepes with bad ingredients and not properly cooked (e.g. separately in dirty...oil fired and then not disorganized on the top, as it should be done drinks. I don't know.
