Le Cafe de La Place

It was really pleasing to find some different items on the menu. We both chose the Brochettes Chartreussein (sp?) which were very tasty and just a little bit different. Looking at our neighbours salads and burgers, you can't go too wrong here!Service was good and pleasant, even if a bit slow - typically for this type of restaurant there are few servers. Parking is easy for this restaurant with a public parking area just downhill from it.We will certainly reuse this restaurant if we come back up this way to hike.

During this summer, we enjoyed the excellent service of young people, very active, smiling, and who give themselves for their work... The à la carte dishes are very good, with a copyy and appetizing plate. It was appreciated (with my husband), the new organization of tables, (with parasols) that increase the area and give an impression of space, freshness and greenery (important when you come from the city)... Good continuation, good courage for the team. We'll be back...

Delicious crepes! Good cappuccino. Sit in the outdoors and enjoy the absolutely stunning scenery and do some people watching and watch the world go by as the clock tower opposite ticks on.

I had lunch in this restaurant with a friend of mine, on our way to the Chartreuse monastery. Service and food was up to our expectations. Proper portion sizes.
