Le cafe de la Place

To avoid! deplorable reception of the responsible person who has been aggressive and disrespectful. He blamed us for having moved a table while we were seven (after requesting permission from a server) told us that the server was wrong to accept it and that he was going to let him know. asked us to put the table back in place at our departure, all on a unpleasant tone. Guess what we did.

Very mixed reviews on this very well-placed coffee, it makes you want to settle there. We go back to the coffee to order everything nicely, the person behind the bar comes out a very dry hello and the service and table. We settle down, a very nice waitress asks us our order. Too bad the pancakes are not garnished inside everything is above what is not pleasant to eat.

We leave the café after a rough hike in Puy and the welcome was very warm! The toilets are clean (and with a 7-year-old child it is important! and the delicious pancakes (as well as the coffees it makes good, thanks to the two ladies who welcomed us

Coming down from Mont Dore station, it is one of the first cafes on the road to Clermont, entering the city. You can eat pancakes or just have a drink. After the rise of the Puy de Sancy, I liked to find this place.

Short break at the square's café on the terrace after having done 2 short hikes in the area. Good welcome, cold drinks. A pleasant little moment outdoors with a beautiful view of the city.

Great welcome, cool and pleasant service. The terrace is comfortable and relaxed. The special ice cream from the local café is recommended for serious gourmands! I recommend .
