We had dinner on the terrace, my husband, my daughter and I. the dishes we ate were very good and quality because homemade and fresh. the sommelier server that took care of us was very pleasant and good advice (he even took the time to recommend us from the cellars and producers around and gave us visiting cards.) the manager he was not very convenient. In addition to this, a slightly salty note is added. the wines are really not given and the children's menu at 8.90€ remains expensive because for this price the drink is not even understood! Another bad surprise, the manager did not agree that we would settle the entire bill in a resto ticket. it limited to two restaurant tickets per person...

decided to stop here to take a drink after the visit, because it is located at the bottom of the castle. When the server came to take our order it was abrupt and not very pleasant, however we were served quickly. We then decided to order another drink tour, so we reported another waitress who turned out to be just as rude or more impolite than the first server. a pity that the staff of this institution lack social skills because it is very well located.

We had dinner tonight at 15 o'clock. The reception and service were perfect, fast and efficient. homemade dishes are clearly a nice attractive argument. in my humble opinion, the amount of the cute net may appear just for great appetites. (4 pieces could match a child's plate.)I would have liked personally that I was asked to cook my steak in my burger and have a little more caramel with the brioche way lost bread.

Well-placed brewery at the bottom of the climb for the fortress. restaurant with terrace. very good lunch (cod, cute net, foie gras) but no charm gets out of this restaurant. any service: the waiter takes the order and basta (no exchange, smile, no advice) damage because the kitchen was good Reserva una mesa ahora

Typically a passing restaurant without more. food is good and service is good. but far from being the warmest and charming restaurant. It is better to eat in one of the less tourist restaurants in the street. if you are in a hurry it is the ideal restaurant because fast service.

bad reception, unpleasant manager. hotel (exaggerated name, barely a hostel) vieillot, small and noisy rooms, very mediocre breakfast (don't dare ask for a cappuccino: only available latte!) restaurant less than mediocre: on the square there are many other possibilities.

I've been to chinon several times. The food was correct but why you can't make a burger without cheese and without tomato ketchup, I don't know. I had to ask for water and I had to ask twice to get the bill. Eat somewhere else.
