During Covid, customers are encouraged to use electronic payments, but this restaurant will charge you a fee for that convenience, even for debit cards. This is not a good practice, especially since cash is not commonly used these days. The coffee was mediocre, indicating they may be cutting corners. While I was there, two groups walked in and did not follow safety protocols by checking in. It was not a safe environment.

I just paid $29 for avocado on toast and a hot chocolate. This is a joke. The cook was rude when questioned about the wrong food being served. They stuffed up the drink order. Dirty tables and flies everywhere. They weren’t even busy; not even 6 customers. No excuse for this. They weren’t under-staffed. Just incompetent and rude.

Beautifully placed opposite the park. Coffee was good and tart-style pies were delightful. A little more choice wouldn’t go amiss but I would gladly eat there again and the French cafe ambience was nice too.

The restaurant is conveniently located with a friendly staff. The food was mediocre, I ordered a vegetarian tart. The coffee was okay. However, the lemon slice was disappointing and not worth it.
