Having been to some godawful Michelin starred places that cater to dead-eyed expense account holders, this place was a refreshing change. It is located in an unspectacular row of shops and caters exclusively to people who actually live (or are staying) in the area and just want a good meal. What you'll get is unpretentious: no fashionable ingredients or techniques, no drama. We went for the 49€ menu (I was planning the tasting menu, but it featured an ingredient that is a bit of a red flag for my other half) and it was wonderful. The best foie gras I have ever had, perfectly cooked duckling and delicious desserts. The wine was expensive but good, the service was proper without being overbear...
