jurored from the contest of the mâcon wines in April and accustomed to the xv wine for the atmosphere and the pig head of the boss now closed, by spite I went to the carafé with another jerry. what a nice surprise, we dined in the cellar, really great, we are in a wine cellar of the vines of bourgogne. the boss a little below, but a waitress with the Slavic accent to the top, not pro but smiling, active, tricky, with full of humor. entries, dishes, delicious desserts, worthy of certain restaurant on the other side of the saône. of the class in the plate, of research, of the quantity, of the fine a large wine map from here and elsewhere at the restaurant price (you have to live well) . bravo...
attracted by the rather positive opinions of previous travelers I went to lunch at the carafé but I didn't go very enthusiastic. The service is nice, but the approximate and tasty cuisine, the lomo was too cooked and the weeping duxel had purée allure, the clafoutis with peaches was completely missed: not enough fruit too much sugar with a texture close to the boil. the addition remains salted for a lunch as soon as you get away from the flat formula of the day and dessert from the day to 17 euros because the rest is offered to the card with dishes around 16 euros and desserts around 7 euros. Anyway, I'm not convinced

... for this little restaurant discovered by chance behind the cathedral. the boss welcomes us on a terrace for lunch despite the hour already late. proposes to serve us in the dish the entrance that tempts us (snails taste) the clafoutis to the delicious cherries also. only the wine with glass will not leave us an imperishable memory, a shame because there is obviously a beautiful cellar. Nice welcome by giséle. a lot of smile and good mood. It was hot so we ate in the cellar. It was very nice. the kitchen is made with fresh products. It's simple and refined. Very nice octopus salad. and even a little word of a friend at the end of the service.
We had dinner in this restaurant. From disappointment especially at the level of service I am not professional in restoration but it seems to me that the glass must be changed when you pass from white to red. However, the kitchen was tasteful.
