Very nice ambiance, starting from the decor to the friendly staff and the fact that the restaurant is almost always full even on a Tuesday night. Make sure to call them before going there to guarantee a table and since they seem to have a...pair/impair rule (they told me that they accept only pair numbers on specific days). They serve typical French and Swiss food and a great cheese fondu during the winter with several dessert and wine/beer options. The location is also very convenient as it's on the main restaurants and shops street of Neuchâtel, close to the tourists attractions and very close to the bus station (take the 107/109 (direction Place Pury) to Neuchâtel,Terreaux Muséum or Neuch...

In my humble opinion, this is THE brasserie to eat well and have a great time in Neuchâtel. Seasonal menu and very intelligently composed. Always quality cuisine despite the often very busy place (better to reserve your table). Nice cellar and excellent choice of beers on tap. Exceptional service, welcoming and without fuss, in a unique Belle-Epoque setting. I have been coming here happily for a long time, and I never tire of it.

I had lunch in the brasserie once and I totally enjoyed it. The food was very well prepared. French style cooking, refreshing and tasty. I had a beer Cardinal what else) with it. I enjoyed sitting at a table in the street and watching the people go by while eating. I want to come back to try their legendary mussels and one of the deliciously looking desserts.

The restaurant was recommended on TripAdvisor. Luckily we made a reservation. The restaurant was getting fuller and fuller. And was full by 7:30 pm. The menu is available in French, German and English. The staff was super friendly and spoke French, German and English. Perfect for tourists. The food came quickly and was delicious. Without a doubt, for all the times I have had the pleasure of going, the best restaurant in Neuchâtel. A varied menu full of excellent examples of local cuisine, among others. Highlight the warm atmosphere and the perfect service.
