while we have climbed out on the landing of carnac in la trinite sur mer, la trinite is not big, but a walk along the harbour with its boats and ocean races was very good. when it was lunch, we went back along the series of shops and bars opposite the harbour. we found le carre purely random, as it is small and missable, sent between a bistro and creperie, but it had pleasant outside seats with a good view of the harbour. After I finished our drinks, I went in to pay. what a pleasant surprise. again small, and obviously French, but reminds me of an old fashionable British pub. an excellent place to drink with friends.
still our favorite in la trinitie sur mer. After a visit to the outdoor market, which was very good and a walk along the harbour with its boats and ocean races it was late morning. it was time for a coffee / beer and lunch in...La carre. the beers are good and the menu for lunch is reasonable, eating was very good. we still like to sit outside on the pavement seat for harbour and people watching. a pleasant lunch by friendly staff finished, we went back along the series of shops and bars to the car for home. another advantage is that after 1st september parking is free in main parking.
this still remains the best bar in la trinite regarding atmosphere, and it is certainly the most popular, but apparently popularity could also have negative effects. at least that was our impression on the silvester when we discovered that cocktails were no longer served and had to move elsewhere after the order of mojitos etc.
This remains the best bar in La Trinite, and it is certainly the centre of local social life throughout the year. In the middle of the winter, as well as in the summer, it is an excellent place to go for drink and to meet...with friend. Their mojitos and pina coladas are great, as well as reasonably priced.
