Le Carré d’Ange is an excellent restaurant, the cooking is creative try the ‘ Chartreuse d’Asperges et glace au son de moutarde’ but is also absolutely accurate. The St Pierre, foie gras and veal were all beautifully cooked. The service is good, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. This was a delicious meal in a delightful setting outside on the terrace. This establishment deserves a Michelin star.
Eur 76 for 3 courses +15 for lobster) is a high price in the middle of the countryside. Taste was not fantastic. Lacked some concentration and flavour. Would be an OK meal for 40-50 Eur, but current price/quality ratio is way off. Was there some years back where it was good. However it seems they changed their pricing policy and the kitchen didn't seem so focused this time. Won't go again. Sorry.
Wonderful experience for a birthday meal. The reception at the door felt personal, the explanations of the menu choices very clear and the food? Good, excellent. Some really unusual combinations (Käse Sorbet with the cheese course? Mushroom emulsion and cep ice cream with rice pudding? but they didn't disappoint. A high-quality culinary experience with a family atmosphere. Short, wonderful.

Tout simplement parfait du début à la fin. Nous avons déjeuné pour le Lundi de Pâques, le menu proposé par le chef était un vrai régal…Je recommande vivement !!!
