The chef of this lovely located restaurant can be honored as one of the best of the island. What a pity the serving male waiter does not know that gnocchi fritti is not bread, and is laughing at the clients (two women) in despise for not knowing. Even given a second chance he ignored us completely saying that gnocchi fritti is not gnocchi, making it worse. The attitude made us feel totally unappreciated. Feel sorry for the rest of the personnel but left no tip at all being just angry. Three balls, service makes half the pleasure, could be five according to the food.
a good restaurant with stunning views of the beautiful arone beach. It is a beautiful place where you are used fresh fish of the day that change according to the day's fishing. the fish are on the map with a price for you choose your fish and presents it with its weight, it will then be cooked for an excellent meal. living lobsters also on the same principle. The boss is very commercial and listens to his customers, we have enjoyed an exchange with him on the specialties Corsica.Very good address.
We likely had the best food here during our two weeks stay in Corsica. The composition was unique, the preparation delightful and the taste magic. Can heavily recommend it. The fish is also locally caught (non-industrially) and can thus be considered sustainable. We also enjoyed the seating right next to the sea with an elevated view over the beach.
On our last day in Arone we had a lunch at La Casabianca. We are early and there was one table left that was not reserved. Great view on the bay, service was good and the food was excellent and a bit expensive. All together it was worth the money and we enjoyed the experience. After lunch we went to the beach for a swim!
