This is a restaurant for special occasions. The views overlooking the Loire from the south bank towards St Martin de la Place are stunning. In a warm summer evening you are offered apperetives in the outdoor terrace. The dining room has the same views through...large glass windows. Like a lot of excellent French restaurants, the menu can be a bit restricted for some tastes and we were slightly worried that none of the menus would be suitable for both of us. in this summer we went to a family dinner, and despite the gaudy interior we were surprised by the exaggeration of the aromen in each court. a maximum of creativity, on the plate and in the mouth, beginning with two different mist bouche plates that...we talk about every detail, and this continued and in the did rose up and including desserts (as we normally do not dessert.) this cook deserves to be better known as each dish perfectly balanced in taste and texture. a side, sad, is the mediocre and disappointing weinlist, uninspired and largely out of overpriced food business mega wines (ackermann? come on, but I would go again, with joy.

This place sets the bar of expectations very high. The views are stunning, the old château beautiful, the decor (albeit slightly OTT) sumptuous and the service friendly and discreet. Unfortunately I think the kitchen is trying too hard. Serving foie gras poêlé and a raw...oyster on the same plate did not really work for me. Separately delicious, together not so good. My best dish was some monkfish. Overall, while I enjoyed my meal, my expectations had been keyed up so high that anything less than absolute perfection left me feeling disappointed. A shame.

what a great location with views of the loire. I think some may find the decor a little ott, but we loved it with his napoleon and josephine thema. the menu had 2 set offers and we chose escargot, pan-fried fish and chocolate dessert. all. to a high standard as they would expect good choice

it was very good during our stay, but we had a good service and very nice 3 curs meal. the waiter was really helpful, I asked to recommend a local red wine and he beat a cheap, big wein. He also served...and a local saumur pre-dinner that was great!

This is for us a very special venue which we use for celebrating anniversaries and special events for we know that we will never be disappointed. The service is welcoming and gentle. The food a delight and the location is breathtaking.

we have dinner with the room (menu 45 impeccable and friendly service. We had a good mang of the fun mouth for dessert. It was the evening not to enjoy the magnificent view of the loire of the restaurant room. Reserva una mesa ahora

cordial gratitude to the chef and his staff! has no star in michelin restaurant guide, but I think it is worth it! I recommend it.
