We stumbled into this restaurant by chance, as we had a few hours to kill before heading to the airport. The owner/manager was charming and spoke very good English even though we probably could have managed if he hadn't. We were early, around 17.30 and the kitchen wasn't quite ready, however we put in our order of tapas and it arrived promptly soon after. My partner has a wheat and dairy intolerance, however the manager went tirelessly through the whole menu letting us know which food he was able to eat. We weren't disappointed. a lunch in le castellane during the holiday break. based on the noise level of the restaurant caused by cleaning after lunch, we should have selected another midday place. our group order 2 pasta dishes, an salad and a bacon...cheeseburger the pasta dishes were both served with an overweight of basilikum and the cheeseburger had subcooked speck along with a strange tasting white sauce topping. the 'healthy' salat selection was decent and included a lot of salate, tomato and huh. the personal seemed more interested in engaging instead of showing the customers that the bill ask twice and our lunch longer than desired.
