arrived after the service is finished, and starved. our hosts have set themselves in four to concoct us, despite everything, a beautiful freshness and excellent desserts. Their warm welcome, the advice on wine and the hyper-smiling service delighted us. The decor of the bistro is both typical, with stone walls and wooden beams for example and also modern in the colors, materials and thousand nice little details. arrived by chance in this place without looking for the best restaurant on the net surprise place very nice sunny terrace very pleasant, super efficient and conciliating personal and yes it is best noted and it deserves its first place.! a limited but well-developed choice, and an undisputable freshness of products. dish: exceptional seaweed accompanied by excellent vegetables and a very good gourmet tea. very correct invoice for the quality level. I who was just passing by to chateaugiron I'm not disappointed with this little restaurant that is worth the detour.
the pantry menu offers 3 admissions, 4 dishes and 4 desserts and is renewed regularly. the dishes offered are made with fresh and seasonal products (the fruits and vegetables are picked by their care)! the card being not "to extension" it demonstrates that the chef and his team are very attentive to the quality of the products! the service is always very pleasant and the advices concerning the wine always very fair! Moreover, the prices are more than correct in view of the quality of the products used! We recommend without hesitation!
A very enjoyable evening at Le Cellier. Steak with house béarnaise was just perfect as was my fish du jour. We were both going to have something chocolate for dessert but the table next to ours had the café gourmand de Jean so we followed suit. It was fantastic. Service was attentive but never rushed. Worth coming from far to this small restaurant offering « cuisine bistronomique » I had the perfect summer meal of selection of heirloom tomatoes, sun dried and sorbet with seared tuna. The dish and presentation were surprisingly sophisticated. Enjoy the sunny terrace out back under the château.
Four of us stopped in for dinner while in Chateaugiron. Two of us ordered Steak Bernaise, and two ordered the pork dish. The food was excellent. The steaks were cooked perfectly, and the potatoes were delicious. Nice environment, reasonably priced, with good food and lovely desserts.
