Le Chalet De La Frasse

We had booked more than a month ago for our group of 10 people, to eat and sleep. Before yesterday, I recall to confirm and make sure that our reservation had not been “forget” (which had already happened to us in the same and dazzling two years ago). Because of the traffic from Geneve, we've been late. At 20:10, before leaving the car in the parking lot, I call the shelter to warn them that we would arrive around 21:00, instead of the 20:30 of the reservation. I am answered: no, it is 20:30, not later. I insist on explaining that it is not physically possible for us to make the way in 15 minutes, and ask again if they can climb at 21:00. Great restaurant, friendly staff, excellent food!!! Terrible Comtoise fondue and meat served on a hot grilling bell is even great! Price a little high but unusual location No water in a carafe because there is no running water Access on foot because it is not possible to park there in winter, bring a headlamp and a 30-minute walk (it was very nice in the middle of the night!! Very good homemade blueberry pie and very good ice cream

Very good evening spent at Chalet de la Frasse this summer 2023. We had dinner at the restaurant and then bivouaced in our tents near the chalet. The kitchen is simple, friendly, served in good quantity (the cheese tray was generous! and very good. However, prices are a little high. Nice atmosphere. The patron and waitress welcomed us (we even had the right to a tour of local digestives!! Long live Jura

Lunch with family on a Saturday noon on the terrace to find the freshness we had not in plains. Friendly welcome and efficient service. Tasty dishes with a homemade ratatouille and delicious pope pie. It's a nice place in the middle of the forest, quiet
