Le Chant du Torrent

We have eaten a few times at Le Chant du Torrent over the years and I have to say it gets better every time. The recent renovation has certainly helped the overall atmosphere but more importantly the food and friendly attentive staff really make for a great experience. It is true the restaurant is expensive, like all the others in Nendaz, but if you consider the running costs and the highly seasonal nature of such a business this is to be expected. I would rather pay a higher price to support people trying their best to be successful than see yet another business shut down.

cozy restaurant with friendly and attentive service. the cheese specialities such as fondue (unconditionally try the tomato fondue) or raclette are served in the main house so that the smell is not distributed throughout the local area. a la carte is served in winter garden. the young and dedicated chef dominates his craft and cooks varied as well as tasty prepared and beautifully dressed foods. weeping card with decent preisen. also the desserts maison are not to be despised. a grounded family farm: cozy, friendly and top quality!

We slept in that inn. for those who spend the night, the hotel offers half board for 30.- chf. So we expected something modest in relation to this modest price. has our great surprise, we have had a wonderful meal each evening composed of three inventive dishes. The welcome is warm. the dining room (veranda) which has just been rebuilt offers a modern and friendly setting. small parking available.

While the prices are quite expensive (for a French ... but "in the average" in Swiss,) but the kitchen is of quality and the presentation of the dishes neat: soup of gouty orties, milk pig in excellent oven and perfectly cooked smiling welcome and attentive service we have spent a pleasant time there Reserva una mesa ahora

we ate a Chinese fondue at 40 fr per person and no Chinese mushrooms or other in the broth. I'm ashamed, and the boss is a big dishonest man. When he made a note, he said that's how he sent us on the roses, and no excuses. It's disappointing and not professional. a not recommended

located a little away from nendaz, about 1 km after the ice rink, this restaurant offers a daily dish in chf 17.00. good kitchen, friendly service and pleasant setting with a dining room with windows with views of the valley
