Food was traditional French cuisine, specialising in seafood. Fish dish from the 40 euro set menu was outstanding. Packed with locals (Thurs evening) so must be doing something right food-quality wise. For us, the most memorable part of the evening was the warm and welcoming service from the owner (I'm assuming here) to the waiters. The service was so much better than the vast majority of restaurants we've eaten at around the world. We were very, very well looked after despite the huge language barrier - they could not speak English and our broken French is embarrassing. Only possible drawback for foreign visitors is that it is out of the main tourist areas in Maisons Alfort (there for a conference at UPEC in nearby Creteil). But easy to get to using Line 8 Metro, stop at Maison Alfort Stade. Not the cheapest but great for seeing a bit of how the locals live. Hugely recommended.

I'll make that one quick:A bit bigger: If you want to go out with a group, a very good place.A bit louder: the big always fills up with customers, the space is almost to tight for the headcount. But it is so the good kind of Paris (even if it's in the suburbs). Even better if you like good stuff with good behavior though not uptight.Price is fair.Food is good.Service is lovely - careful: the Mamma might want a hug and a typical french kisses on the cheeks.Vegetarian? No problem: they have love for everyone, and food too. Or was it the other way around? *haha*The wines are good ones.Bon appétit :-)

This place is definitely a typical french restaurant, reknown for seafood. Nice atmosphear, with good service, always busy during week-ends BUT we ordered the chef suggestions for Started and main course: The exotic salad with Gambas and Scallps was served with Salmon io. scallpps, and the gambas were not that fresh... One ordered a steack, rare, and it was served almost well done...They apologize for this and we even get a discount, but , well...They have a very attractive All-inclusive menu: Aperitif, 3-course menu, wine or water, cafe. That's the good deal!

We went there with some friends for an evening dinner. The service was remarkable, the food excellent and the price very reasonnable. We all choose the 39.50€ menu which includes everything: cocktail, or Kir, starter, main course and desert, plus wine and coffe. The atmosphere is also very nice.
