I, along with a group of friends, have used this restaurant for some years and have always enjoyed our meals here and have been made to feel very welcome.The menu includes a number of Montagnard specialities, so you can experience dishes that you might not normally find in Normandy, in addition to more local dishes. There is also a good selection of pizzas. There's plenty here for the cheese lover!Since our last visit, changes have been made to the seating in the small restaurant, so it was not possible on this occasion to seat all ten of our party on one table; instead, we were in two adjoining alcoves. Hopefully, we can improve on this for our next visit, as we will certainly return next year.
For me this is one of the best places to eat in Alençon I was recommended it by the hotel I stayed in and wasn't disappointed. They do fantastic steaks and pizzas. In particular the Calzone is one of the best I have had. The desserts they have are delicious aswell. Staff very good and friendly. This is a must visit place if you are staying in Alençon. Below I took a picture of the "Entrecote Grille" with Bernaise sauce a good cut of rib eye and huge.
After not seeing anything vegetarian on the menu one of the really helpful waitresses put together a delicious salad of goat's cheese, avocado and veg which was very filling. We both finished the meal with huge deserts and left fully satisfied. Definitely worth a visit if you're a veggie not sick of salads. If you're a meat eater you will be spoiled for choice!
