Le Christine - Reservar una mesa

Rue Christine is off the beaten path, so make certain your driver knows where to go, in advance. This fine dining establishment is a block away from part of town that in my opinion, an up and coming HOT neighborhood.Musicians are playing in the streets and cafes are crowded......but that is for another discussion.Le Christine is a really good find. Not quite a Michelin starred restaurant, but they have some extraordinary dishes. For example, they have a cold pea soup, not to be missed. Your plate is decorated with blackberries, wasabi and in the enter, mint oil,and a dollap of pea sorbet. Just fantastic. Another app, the duck foie gras was also superb. One entree, the Lamb Shoulder was plated tender Lamb shoulder cooked for eight hours, eggplant caviar, chickpeas, preserved lemon, capers and coriander. For dessert, don't miss the pistacchio and raspberry tart. This casual yet elegant restaurant is reasonably priced and has some reasonable wines as well.I would go back in a heartbeat.

this restaurant is located in a quiet street in the Latin Quarter, between the docks and odeon. There are two rooms. the frame is modern and casual. service is fast. the staff is smiling, attentive and pro enough about the kitchen: it is inventive and original. We felt we were dealing with a master restorer. there is the choice between 2 formulas: a flat or a dessert dish at 37€ or a dessert dish at 43€. we opted for the formula at 43€ which is a very good value for money. the entrance: marinated lobsters with cebettes. the dish: the lamb shoulder of 8 hours, eggplant caviar, chick peas, lemon juice confit, cap, coriander. It was excellent. dessert: a pistache and raspberry pie, raspberry sorbet and sarriette that was original and refreshing in this month of August. We enjoyed the St.Nicolas from burgueil to glass at 7€ which was one of the best I had. we will soon go back to enjoy other dishes. I recommend without hesitation!
