my wife and I had a very bad meal in le citron. I had an assault of bulots (whelks in English language), followed by gigot d’agneau (grilled lamb), which I asked to be a little pink. the whelks were very hard and to remove the caps. was extremely difficult, so it took about half an hour to eat the whelks. my wife had ordered flambees gambas (prawns) followed by a sole. the lamb was more than a little overdue after it took so long to eat the whelks. it was clear that the grill for an excessive time. I would have sent it back among others, but my wife had to wait until I finished my starter and her sole would probably have spoiled if she had waited for another lamb to be cooked. in our first night we were at the far end of canet plage for eating. we had neither the energy nor the motivation to venture further on the crowded places. we have with le citron vert' as it offered an affordable 3 course...Meal deal. the personal was friendly with good English and we sat immediately (they were not difficult to suck). I went with the set 3 cursor for €15. the pre-eat calamar was satisfactory, but the beef main course was excellent. I was served with a perfect part of juicy bark and salate. for dessert the lemon cake was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant because of its affordableness and it is unobstructed view of the sea. g.

Hubby had some great experience in the past so we decided to drop by for dinner. Service was oh so slow and not very efficient. I ordered the Argentine gambas main course, was very disappointed to see a.few smallish prawns on the plate with a...mountain of limp fries and a small salad. Not worth the price. Hubby order the veal kidney only to be told no more, please try the veal liver instead. It was ok. Nothing to shout about. Overall one of the forgettable meals of this trip so far. Ho hum.
