very nice place with good food and friendly French and English-speaking owners/ employees in a cozy small town. we ate here with our 2 year old daughter. despite the rain we could sit outside on the terrace under the brandy, which was very comfortable. the menu of the day offered vegetarian, fish and meat options for a very reasonable price. we chose the courgette carpaccio, smoked salmon mousse and gnocchi in gorgonzola with green peas that were delicious! we also enjoyed the simple but very beautiful cheese plate and chocolate brownie we had dessert for. because of my pregnancy, I had some questions about the ingredients. this was taken seriously and tested and in doubtful cases I was offe...

It is a good while since I reviewed Hannah’s and having been a few times since the end of lockdown, we decided to have Sunday Lunch there last week. The temptation of roast lamb with a twist was too much to miss. The thing is that Hannah is a good chef and puts a French/European slant on British Cuisine. Or is it the other way round? Either way it’s very enjoyable, always a good atmosphere and for those that think this is a restaurant just for expat’s it isn’t at all, loads of locals use it. Thanks for a great lunch.

Lunch: nice food at a reasonable price. Service was good. Location not very scenic but ambience was nice, in the centre of Cherval.
